Easy Shamrock Sugar Cookies

DESCRIPTION

Easy to make cookies for St. Patrick's Day


INGREDIENTS

  • Pillsbury Sugar Cookie Dough or similar

  • Green Candy Sprinkles
  • Green Food Coloring

  • OTHER MATERIALS

  • Cookie Cutter
  • Rolling Pin

  • Flour
  • Baking Sheet
  • Parchment Paper (optional)
  • gloves if you are dyeing the dough green
  • STEPS

    1. Lightly flour surface you are rolling dough on and rolling pin.
    2. If you want green colored cookies, drop a few drops of green food coloring onto dough and knead.

    3. Roll dough out to 1/4 inch

    4. Press cutter into dough and peel around the cookie cutter first.
    5. Lift up cookie cutter.
    6. Decorate with sprinkles.

    7. Bake according to package. Watch carefully because it will brown quickly in the last few minutes.
