Toddler Recipes: Make Fantastic Flubber
DESCRIPTION
A fun idea for party favors, Fun Fair Prizes or Fundraisers.
INGREDIENTS
In One Bowl Mix Together:
2 cups Elmer's Glue
1 1/2 cups water
In a Separate Bowl Mix Together:
1/3 cup water
1 tsp Borax detergent
STEPS
- Pour Borax/water mixture into glue/water mixture and stir. A portion of it will turn to goop.
Take goop out of bowl and place on a counter or smooth surface.
- Make Borax mixture again and pour into remaining glue/water. Stir and take out goop again.
Repeat with Borax mixture until glue/water mixture is gone.
- Knead all excess water out of goop and store in air-tight container.
- Store in air tight containers
TIPS AND SUGGESTIONS
DO NOT EAT OR GET IN HAIR! Wear a smock or old t-shirt!
Food color can come out onto hands or surface you work/play on.
Be sure your child is ready for this type of activity and will not ingest the goop.
Please supervise children at all times during this activity.
OTHER IDEAS
Cute Fun Fair item to sell or use for prizes for age appropriate children. Make a variety of colors and store in inexpensive plastic condiment containers.
Great home made party favor.
