EDUCATIONAL NOTES
Winter is the coldest season of the year, and occurs between Autumn and Spring. This season has the shortest days and longest nights of the year. In the northern hemisphere, Winter starts on December 20th to 22nd and ends on March 20th to the 21st. In the Southern Hemisphere, including Australia, New Zealand and South Africa, Winter begins on June 1st and ends on August 31st.
