Micro Preemie Twins

I delivered my twins at 28 wks. Chelsi Falon weighed in at 1 pd 11ozs and was the first to arrive. Her sister Trystan Rayne weighed 2 pounds 5 ozs and came into this world 30 minutes later. My beautiful girls were taken from me as fast as I had them and they grew slowly in the NICU. I was unable to hold them for about 2 months. I put my fingertips on their tiny arms & legs and cupped their heads in my palm when they were crying and soothed them to sleep with cassette recordings of "Seal" in their isolettes. (they love Seal to this day) I couldn't believe I had twin girls. They were strong and amazing and every day fought hard to survive. 4 months later They were both home. They are 13 now and in middle school. Time is a thief in the night. They grow so fast. We have struggled through medical obstacles and have always come out on the better side of good. Their strength is incredible. I learn on a daily basis about patience and struggle, faith & hope in this crazy beautiful life.
